The keys to the cage

Today reading has become even more enjoyable! I've got to the point where Rob finds out who his tiger belongs to.
Beauchamp who owns the Kentucky Star motel won the tiger at a card game. I maybe should have explained this before but the motel is where Rob's father works. They both live there since Rob's mother's death.
I'm not quite sure yet if Beauchamp is a bad man. He seems rough and uneducated and speaks with very bad grammar.

One day when Rob wasn't at school Beauchamp pulled up at the motel and asked Rob three questions. One of them was: "You like wild animals don't you?" Rob answered that he did, he new where Beauchamp was going, he knew that he meant the tiger. Beauchamp now wants Rob to feed the big cat. The exciting and worrying thing is that he has entrusted Rob with the whole set of keys to the cage.   Even the main key.

Now Rob is in a difficult position. He knows Sistine really wants to free the tiger and when he tells her he has the keys she will insist in setting it free.

PS: thank you mum for helping me sorting out my spelling
